Basic Multisensory tour

You will be accompanied by the “Mastro Acetaio”, i.e. the owner to visit the whole Acetaia. She will narrate everything about the ancient Modena’s tradition of the Aceto Balsamico and will explain all the phases of the production process, with particular attention to the P.D.O. requirements which certify the product.
Passing through the batteries of barrels of different woods, you will be told about the ancient method of the ‘Rincalzo and Travasi ’ (topping up and transferring) of the Aceto Balsamico, to proceed then with the olfactory experience, by ‘smelling’ it and with the tasting of 5 pure Balsamic Vinegars.

Do not miss the chance to spend a few hours in a wonderful timeless place, where you will be enchanted by the scents of must and aged balsamic vinegar. We are waiting for you!


Privilege Multisensory tour

Besides the basic Multisensory tour, tastings of local food and wine will be offered, paired with our traditional P.D.O. Balsamic Vinegar, including:
-Parmigiano Reggiano with drops of Balsamic Vinegar, the meeting of two excellences
-Bruschetta with Caramelized Onions and Extra Aged Balsamic Vinegar, or Extra cherry jam paired with Extra Aged Balsamic Vinegar, or vegetable compote accompanied by local cheese
-MieleAceto tasted with fresh ricotta cheese, pears or other seasonal fruit
