In the municipal territory of Castelnuovo Rangone, there are many villas, including villa Manodori-Coccapani, located in the hamlet of Montale. Considered an important example of 18th century architecture, it is an eighteenth-century extension of a previous construction, dating to the seventeenth century.

Villa Manodori-Coccapani has a large façade, with a panoramic viewpoint and side towers, flanked by the low buildings of the courtyard that recall the grace of Renaissance works. A small lake completes the picture, reflecting iridescent plays of lights in its waters.
