A little spot of paradise among the hills of Modena

Locanda Marcella is located in Festà, in the territory of Marano sul Panaro. The structure has four rustic rooms with modern details and all the comforts. La Locanda is the ideal place where to rest and take a break, in the green of nature. The rooms are in harmony with the context in which they are located and named after four native animals of these hills: the Badger, the Buzzard, the Red Woodpecker and the Dormouse.

Locanda's restaurant offers the visitors the fragrance and the flavours of the emilian tradition and of the good cuisine. Catia Fornari is the chef and manager; she is fond of good things and she is a searcher of excellent ingredients. The strictly selected suppliers are almost exclusively of the territory and km 0. Moreover, Locanda Marcella is member of the Ark of Taste (Presidio Slow Food).

The same principle is used for the wines: Locanda Marcella is indeed also member of the Italian Sommeliers Association. The list is periodically renewed after a precise reseach on the vines of the territory, with the purpose of discovering many enologic realities in Emilia Romagna. The seach for the producers is always active and it follows the fundamental methods that are the respect for the environment and nature, both for animals and for humans.
