The museum dedicated to the history and culture of our territory inside Levizzano Castle
The exhibition contains numerous testimonies of rural life between the two wars. Agricultural tools, woodworking tools, wine-making utensils, extraordinary photographic documentation and drawings illustrate in a pleasant and direct way the social dynamics and good farming practices of the rural community.
The narrative develops through work cycles (the Way of the Grape, the Way of the Earth, the Way of the Wood) and in-depth Stations (places dedicated to daily life, women's work, the family, festive moments) to offer the visitor a clear and engaging interpretation.
INSTALLATIONS AND SERVICES
Interactive background sounds
The voices and sounds of rural society echo through the rooms of the museum, giving visitors an increasingly immersive experience and bringing them closer to a new, instinctive form of knowledge: that of sound. The echoes of nature, the sound of objects and animals, the dialectal voices of the protagonists enrich the visit in an original and unexpected way; it is as if the museum had windows open to the past and you can hear its sounds coming into the rooms.
TOURS
ROSSO GRASPA’s offer extends beyond the walls of the museum, inviting visitors to continue their visit in the 'museum outside the museum', to observe the landscape around the Levizzano Castle, and to set off across the fields considering such activity as a sincere and engaging learning experience.
Three tours have thus been established: Anello dei Colli, Crinale di Via Lunga and Via Romea alle Tre Croci.
