The olfactory workshop "Scent of the Hill" will lead us to discover, smell, and collect the plants and  flowers that inhabit the four cultivated hectares, without the use of chemical substances, of Fattoria  Koinè. During the experience, you will see the steam distiller in use and you will take home your  very own "Scent of the Hill" as a memento. 

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THIS EXPERIENCE 

• A walk to discover aromatic and fragrant plants. 

• Participate firsthand in the distillation process of plants and flowers. 

• Each participant will bottle and take home their personalized "Scent of the Hill.”

DESCRIPTION 

The olfactory workshop "Scent of the Hill" will lead us to discover, smell, and collect the plants and  flowers that inhabit the four cultivated hectares, without the use of chemical substances, of Fattoria  Koinè. With the help of a distiller, we will extract from these plants their fragrant and beneficial  substances in the form of hydrosols and essential oils. The purpose of the walk will be to choose  our favorite aromatic plants and distill a hydrosol that contains all the perfumes of this experience:  the "Scent of the Hill." 

Program: 

• Walk in the estate and collection of herbs and flowers 

• Beginning of collective distillation and explanation of the process 

• Snack with herbal infusions, homemade bread, and jam tasting. 

• Olfactory workshop. We will analyze the properties of some essential oils of plants found in  the estate 

• A relaxing theatrical tasting of true lavender essential oil, produced on the farm, will  conclude the olfactory experience 

• Finally, with funnels, pipettes, and small bottles, we will fill the "Scent of the Hill" that each  participant will take with them as an olfactory memory of an afternoon in nature.
