An autumn of dance, music and polenta
The Sagra della Polenta di Guiglia (Guiglia Polenta Festival) is a constant of autumn events in the Modena Apennines, with a view to recovering old traditions and tastes.
During the last two weekends of September, in addition to polenta and the tasting of local food and wine products, the festival is enlivened by music, dancing and entertainment for all ages.
The real star of this festival will be polenta, a lesser-known typical product of our territory, which is prepared in large pots, according to the ancient art, by expert hands that know how to recognise its goodness. Classically combined with various condiments or fried in different forms such as the Calzagatti, together with pasta and beans and our strictly handmade crescentine, it will take you back to the flavours of the past when dishes were poorer, but tasty thanks to the love and wisdom of those who prepared them.
