A comics festival dedicated to children

“Betty B” is the festival in Terre di Castelli Union dedicated to comics, images and literature for children. The event offers various themes of the comic strip, illustration and literature universe, promoted by the Municipality of Savignano sul Panaro and in collaboration with the Municipalities of Vignola and Spilamberto and numerous associations.

The festival features a large comics bookshop, screenings and meetings, shows, exhibitions, and, of course, special guests such as comic book artists, cartoonists, illustrators, writers, and publishers. At the heart of the festival are the results of the comics and fiction courses organised during the school year with the students, who will be asked to create a short comics story exhibited during the event. In addition, Betty B reserves a space for young artists from the province and region who will be able to exhibit their work and compete for a prize, in cooperation with publishers and academic institutions.
